Cadets and staff are required to be in
uniform for all required drills and trainings. The uniforms cadets will
wear during their Sea Cadet or League Cadet careers are a necessary part
of their membership. As cadets grow, smaller sized item should be
returned to the unit in re-usable condition, the larger size of the same
item will be provided.
The following Uniforms are the prescribed uniforms for Wolf Squadron and
Training Ship Cedar. Each uniform features a list of required items. The
lists are separated into groups between Sea Cadets and League Cadets,
male and female, and uniform type.
**The uniforms will be issued once enrollment is processed at NHQ. It is
the responsibility of each cadet to request from the Supply Officer any
items that are missing from their uniforms.
The published Plan-of-the-day should
specify which uniform is to be worn. If it is not explicitly stated, or
the Plan-of-the-day is not published in a timely fashion, then it can be
assumed that the Navy Working Uniform (NWU) will be the assigned uniform
of the day for all cadets and staff.
That said, each category of cadets has
four distinct uniforms, White Dress (Whites), Blue Dress (Blues), the
Navy Working Uniform (NWUs), and Physical Training (PT). Khakis are worn
only by adult volunteers who wore them prior to retirement from active
military service.
