We at Wolf Squadron have a variety of ways of communicating to our
staff, cadets, community, and families. Some information needs to go out
immediately, while some of the other is more for reference. With that in
mind, we have a tiered approach to how communication happens
First, all official communication from Wolf Squadron sent to every family goes
out through Parent Square. This is our district's primier method of
communiacation to families, and it works pretty well. ALL official news,
plans, and schedules are sent through this medium. It is often re-posted
via other channels, but this is our standard method of communication. We
do not typically use email unless we need to contact a single family or
cadet. |
 |
Second, Sea Cadets Headquarters has every cadet's email and telephone
number in their database and they will use that from time to time to connect
directly to families or cadets. Wolf Squadron will also use this
information to contact specific families over individual matters or
questions. |
 |
Next, for static information such as newsletters and commonly referenced
materails, we have this website. All of our doctrines, instructions,
manuals, plans of the day, and other static information will be
posted there as it is updated. |
 |
For more timely training documents and spaces where cadets can collaborate
on projects we have our Google Classroom. Posted here are specific
lessons, quizzes, and training materials unique to Wolf Squadron. Within
this umbrella goocle classroom are separate classrooms for major
activities including TSA, Fitness, and Orienteering. SKSD ParentSquare
mailing lists are populated through SKSD Google Classrooms. |
 |
Our Facebook/Instagram presence. This is where we showcase
what our cadets do and how they impact our community. |
 |
And lastly, we are not beneath a text or phone call when pressing
matters or emergencies arise.
